What a delightful little book! Though short, it really has a great story. This is one of Brockmann's earlier releases and I'm so glad it's been re-published. It's a unique twist on time travel, a la "The Time Traveler's Wife", but a much faster read and with a more satisfying ending. (And I think this one may have been written first.) For Brockmann fans and time-travel aficionados, I highly recommend this book.
I have a lot of Brockmann's books on my keeper shelf, but this one will not be joining them. Part of what I most enjoy about reading romance is that you know you will get a happy ending; the hero and the heroine will overcome obstacles and wind up together. This one was a little too weird for me because one of the obstacles to overcome was the fact that the two men the heroine had to choose between were the same person, one seven years older than the other due to time travel. I'd rather have reread another Brockmann book.
