Intense, good complex plot
Another good entry in the Swagger series from Hunter. This one provides the back story to Swagger's tour in Viet Nam and the death of his spotter, Donny Fenn. Hunter throws in a lot of twists and turns and of course, all is not as it seems in how and why Fenn was killed. The book includes the story of Fenn's days as a marine in Washington D.C. during the peace movements of 1971 and how he ends up on his second tour of duty in Nam. A Russian sniper is involved in his killing and years later the same sniper is after Swagger (or is he after something else?). Another high recommendation for Hunter.
This is definitely a man's book. I love thrillers, but I wasn't able to get into this book. I stopped after a few chapters. I gave it to my son. I'm sure he will like it.
