I loved the story, but the writing wasn't quite up to par. Too much detail in the beginning, conversation seemed forced, lots of scripture interwoven in conversations (which was not a problem for me, but seemed a little overdone). I love mail-order bride books and happy endings, so this was a satisfying read for me.

This was a very good book as all of the mail order bride books are, this one is about a young bride being left at the church while her husband to be ran off with her sister, years later she finds true love and her sister finds her and comes to stay with her while there she has a baby and lies to her sister about her husband the man her sister was suppose to marry telling her that he was abusive and she had to get away from him, anyway she leaves the baby for her sister to raise I'm not going to spoil the ending so you just have to read the book it is worth reading!
I haven't been too impressed with this series. The stories are all good, and the plots fairly unique, but the writing is a bit stilted and nearly all the conversations between characters seem unnatural. A light, easy read, but not of particularly high quality.
I enjoyed this book. Sweet story, a bit predictable but an easy, quick read.
This is an amazing book!! Joanna and Al Lacy are simply fantastic! Each of their books that I have read takes you on a grand adventure! In A Time to Love, some many things went wrong for the couple that I was getting downright mad. Literally, everything that could go wrong did go wrong. It all came beautifully together at the end but what a ride to get there! I had goose bumps on my arms at the end! Great, great book!
#2 in the series.
