A fun, quick, steamy read about an NHL coach reconnecting with the hometown girl he never forgot. However, he's coaching girls softball, so there's no time on the ice in this one. The leads both seem to protest a little too much, but you do get the happy ending at the very end. The work at the community center and the scenes with the leads' families were great. It just wasn't clear to me why if they could both see they had something special they were so hesitant. He's not the only guy in the world with a job that requires travel!
I love Jill Shalvis! I read this book in an evening. It as quick, easy read. It could have been better if some of the plot back story had been explored but overall a good read.
