One of Dick's better novels, with a reveal early on that'll still take your breath away.

Incredible novel that kind of falls flat when it enters familiar SF territory the last 25 pages or so. I often wonder how awesome Dick's novels could've been had he gained some popularity and respect (and money) while he was alive. That would've given him the freedom to revisit/expand his dime-store pulp novels and make them truly spectacular--or just write more stuff he was excited about writing. This novel is definitely worth reading though, whether you're a PKD fan or not.
