I am a Raistlin fan, so I have yet to meet a book about Raistlin I did not like. A dark, sadistic mage seeking to be come the greatest wizard the world has ever known. Charming caring reluctant warrior along for the ride. One needing the other more then he will admit.
One of my favorite authors. This series was really good. A little darker than the Chronicles but still so very worth reading!
Only got through the first couple of pages. It's a Dungeons & Dragons short of fantasy story. Not my cup of tea, but may be someone else's! :)
Am interesting continuation of the series.
If you liked the other dragonlance books, you will enjoy seeing this new side of the kindar.
Once again Weis and Hickman have made a Dragonlance junky very happy. I have yet to find any of the Dragonlance books that I haven't enjoyed.
The War of the Lance has ended, the darkness has passed. Or has it.
From the back: the War of the Lance had sended. The darkness had passed. Or has it? One man, the powerful archmage, Raistlin, intends that the darkness return. . . In the doomed city of Istar, poised on the brink of disaster, dark magic and darker ambition battle love and self-sacrifice in a quest to save not only the world but more importantly-- a soul!
These books are beautifully written, impossible to put down, and all together captivating. Years after reading about them I can still picture the characters in my mind as I type this review.
