Written in the manner of other S.E. Hinton books. I was really into the characters and loved the book until the end. This book reminded me of her book That was Then This is Now. Even though I read that book 25 years ago I still remember it because I always hated the way it ended, feeling like the author just got tired of writing and stopped. Same thing happened here, I was invested in the two main characters and then the story just stops.
