This book is very helpful for the parent who is beginning potty training or the the parent of a child that is struggling. It has some very good ideas.

In general, there are good tips for potty training. However, the author uses the very non-politically correct word "retarded" rather than mentally challenged or Down Syndrome. I'm sure those with special needs children won't appreciate that poor terminology. Also, the author does not understand the medical difference between a "milk allergy" and "milk intolerance". She talks about a "milk allergy" but the discription is that of a "milk intolerance"! Big, HUGE difference.
