This is the third installment in the Pepper Martin Mystery series and once again an enjoyable read.
In this book our feisty cemetery tour guide has to help rock legend Damon Curtis. Now - the back of the book claims that Damon is convinced that his band mate murdered him and that Pepper's mission is to prove that - but they have that kind of wrong. I hate it when backs of books misdirect the reader! And I am happy I didn't read the back of the book before I started or I would have been waiting for events that never really occurred. Was band mate Vinnie Pallucci a jerk and doing some bad things? Yup. But it's not quite how the back of the book tells you things are going to go down. I will leave it at that so as not to spoil things.
On a side bar - some things do happen in the Quinn department(who is the hot detective hunk in the wings) and also the mysterious Dan shows up again. They are wetting my appetite and I am hoping the 4th installment brings more on these two men in Pepper's life. (Does Dan work for a secret ghost buster agency? Does Quinn think Pepper is a nut ball now?)
I both hate and love these books because they read really fast and they always make me want more more more.

Tombs of Endearment is the third installment in the Pepper Martin Mystery series. It's just as riveting as the the first two were. It was a marathon reading session and I didn't set the book down for very long.
In this episode, Pepper must help a dead but not gone rock legend finish his unfinished business. Once she has helped him he should go to the Great Beyond, right? Wrong. Apparently the "accidental" overdose that had killed Damon Curtis was no accident. Now Pepper must solve yet another murder case and deal with the ex-fiance' who has decided to make a reappearance in her life!
This is a fantastic series. It's paranormal and involves ghosts and mystery. It's light and wonderfully fun to try and figure out the whodunit. I would recommend this series to anyone. You'll get hooked immediately!

3rd in the series, Pepper helps a dead rock legend Damon Curtis, and shes finally starting to grow and mature. Dan is still a mystery... And the ending will definitely make you want to pick up the next book right away.

The 3rd in the series & I liked this one the best. Your starting to see a different more mature Pepper whose coming into her own. The ending leaves you hanging until the next one which I will definitely read!

Similar to the other books in the series but I found this one a little bit slow. I did enjoy the character of the rock star but some of the others could have been better developed.
