For Lynn Danfort, the sudden loss of her young husband had been almost unbearable. With two children to raise, she'd counted on the support of her husband's best friend, Ryder Matthews. But then Ryder had left town without warning and Lynn had found herself feeling alone and betrayed.
Now, three years later, Ryder was back-his return as mysterious as his departure. And his interest in her seemed to go beyond the comfortable friendship they'd shared before. Was his tempting courtship just the belated result of feelings of guilt? Or were Ryder's true feeling something else altogether?

Debbie Macomber is probably my favorite author. Her books are feel good stories and this was was for sure. I LOVED it!! I can't wait for more from Debbie!!!!
Light reading. Pretty standard and predictable ending! Makes a good beach or by the pool read!
