This book kind of reminds me of a Jane Ann Krentz book -- artistic, emotive, bohemian woman meets a man who is successful, powerful and emotionally constipated. While the formula is familiar, it is still a good beach read.

YUM! Great tension, fun story- h/h both play at the double cross game- She claims amnesia when she hit her head as she's caught attempting to rob his house. He claims she's his wife, doesn't she remember? The old South meets a free spirit from a West Coast artist colony, with lots more in common than they can guess.

this was a great book about a women who breaks into a rich tycoons house to steal back a painting that her grandmother did...she is discovered and claims that she has amnesia....but the man states that she is his wife so she has to stay with him. It was a great story, and very romantic

Totally mindless, but a good read!
Christina Dodd does her usual great job on this book. Meadow's family also makes a guest appearance in the next book in her contemporary lineup.

Cute story. Some plot problems. Romance was not very strong emotionally, but I wanted to know how it ended.

This light, romantic suspense is a fast paced story that gets a reader hooked and forces you to keep turning the pages until the book ends. It kept my interest and had me searching the database for more stories from Christina Dodd.

I found the premise (she falsely claims to have amnesia, he falsely claims she's his wife, she can't deny it without admitting she doesn't have amnesia) to be a little strained, and carried on way too far. That being said the writing is good, and there are some compelte "laugh out loud" funny parts of this book that overall, I really enjoyed.

Meadow breaks into her grandfather's house to take back the painting her grandmother left behind, hidden for years, as a hedge for the future. Unfortunately, Meadow's grandfather sold the house last year, and the break-in is not as silent as she thought. When lights come on, and a strange man appears, Meadow trips, falls against a stone lion, and claims amnesia. Devlin takes immediate advantage, and doesn't understand why she can't remember that she is his wife. Enjoyed this one very much.

Love all the C Dodd books and this is a good romantic suspense. Had the villain pegged and it turned out to be an undercover FBI agent! Loved the story!

This is for all the fans of Christina Dodd - Meadow Szarvas is caught sneaking into a mansion - a soon to be 5 star hotel- to steal a painting. Toss in a few others after the same painting, an attempted murder, romance - this is Dodd at her best

Cute story about a artist who breaks into her family's former home to steal a painting done by her grandmother. The owner of the mansion captures her physically as well as her heart.
Funny and sexy!
Wonderfully funny and gripping. Christina Dodd is definitely one of my favorite authors and she only gets better each time.

Light, easy reading.
Loved this book! Love Christina Dodd, she has such a great style of writing!
this is the very first Christina Dodd book I've ever read and i was kind of disappointed..it was good but it didn't really have any depth and it seemed to me she was running out of time and just wrote what she thought down real fast. i wouldn't really recommend this book...it makes me not want to read anymore of her books :( but every one has different tastes and its up to you :)
I really enjoyed this book, went through it pretty quickly:) I really liked both Meadow and Devlin, they were really well matched and I truly hated to see the story end:)
