As always, a very entertaining story. A very light and enjoyable read. Can't go wrong with a "Number" book by Janet Evanovich. Can't wait to read the next.

Evanovich has got another winner in my opinion. Love all of her ongoing characters and her lively, fun filled stories. Ranger and Joe Morelli are both in this one again. Stephanie does quite a bit of work with Ranger in this book. She spends a lot of time with a former acquaintance, whom she really doesn't like at all. He has decided that since someone is trying to kill him by firing a rocket through his apartment; that he has to live with Stephanie so she can protect him. Great story! Of course, Grandma Mazur and Lula are right in the middle of the mix. Some additional fun comes about when one of Stphanie's skips has 10 Chihuahuas that must be taken care of while he goes back to jail to wait to be bonded out again. What fun!!

Not the best, not the worst in the series, this is as usual a fast paced, funny read. I am always baffled that we have to review everyone in such detail, I figure no one starts at 21 and a quick recap can do it. Look forward to more.

The usual cast of characters and lots of the usual antics. I read it fairly quickly but I did not get a great number of laughs that I usually do at Stephanie's capers. Let me a little flat.

Stephanie catches quite a few bad guys in this adventure, of course she has help. Briggs plays a large role in this book. Ranger has the patience of a saint. Morelli is definitely healed and up for anything! Made me laugh, which is always my expectation and she does not disappoint!

I have given up on Janet Evanovich books! She had a good concept and has just taken it to far. In my opinion, Stephanie now looks like an idiot who can't decide who she wants to be with. She needs to choose one and maybe the story could continue from there. I was really disappointed in this book!

Classic Stephanie Plum - laugh til you cry and still enjoy a bit of a mystery.

Ranger and Stephanie try to keep short stuff Randy Briggs who was low down dirty dealing used car salesman Jimmy Paletti's accountant alive long enough to testify at Paletti's trial.

Stephanie Plum's latest skip is a guy with a lot of friends -- many of whom begin turning up dead in what looks like a buddy deal gone sour. Then their accountant -- a supremely annoying Little Person -- gets firebombed out of his apartment and ends up moving in with Stephanie until her place suffers the same fate. In between, just to keep things interesting, is a one-eyed Russian assassin and a pack of 10 attack Chihuahuas.

How she does it I do not know? I still laugh out loud at 'Plum' and 'Lulu' antics. There is always a good mystery/story. Even at #21 the writing is as fresh as the earlier books. I am still hoping Stephanie would make up her mind about Morelli. I am pretty sure she has about Ranger, but is holding out on Morelli. Still Recommending!

Stephanie Plum embarks on her most exciting adventure to date, learning more about Ranger's mysterious past in the process. She has both Ranger's nemesis and a crooked car dealer/human trafficker trying to kill her. Good thing she can count on Morrelli and Bob for support. Another home run for Janet Evanovich. If only we could get more than one book a year in the series!
