As books with body parts go, this isn't too bad.

Great characters by a never-disappointing author.

I love this series. I think this is the 1st book featuring the two gals who have retired and live in cottages next door to each other in a seaside town called Wethering. One is a free spirit - sort of a 60's hippie and the other is a rigid sort of organized retired business woman. They come together to solve a murder. The detective work is fun and interesting and so is their developing friendship. I've read 3, I think and am eagerly awaiting a new one.

Absolutely delightful! Much small English village intrigue, with malice in the telling and great characters. This tranquil town isn't what it seems.

Fun fun whodunit, with some great characters in a small town where nothing happens-but always does!
