I usually enjoy reading BDSM stories for a change of pace but for me the Hotness factor quickly diminished due to a lack of romance in these 3 stories. I found most of the sex scenes brutal rather than sexy and though these guys stated they "loved" these women, I did not feel the love. The way the guys got off on "punishing" these new trainees to the BDSM world just came of as demeaning rather than hot. Personally I think something is wrong with a guy Alpha or not who thinks he needs to punish a woman because she made him "hot for her" with a glance. To me this is not sexy, it smells of insecure male ego.
I'll stick to the writings of Maya Banks, Lora Leigh, & Jaci Burton for my step on the wild side. I need a bit of romance to go along with the hard core sex to keep it from seeming so brutal.

Three different stories (same author) about three different women and their separate introductions into BDSM. Sometimes mildly disturbing, sometimes wildly erotic, all three stories have happy, sappy endings.

This book was really HOT. The bdsm stuff went past the basic bossy guy and spankn you find in the light stuff but not so far that it was not enjoyable. The women who were the sub's loved what was happening and couldnt wait to get more. There were some scenes where the sub wasnt comfortable but they had safe words that they chose not to use. In the end everyone in each story was seeking more with their partners. This was probably the best bdsm book I have read in a bit.
Interesting peek into a world I know next to nothing about. While I can't ever see myself getting into the whole bondage scene, this WAS a book about fantasies and I have to admit I was intrigued. The sex scenes were HOT in most instances and mildly disturbing in others. Definitely forced me to think outside my comfort zone & I'm so glad I did!
Not a bad read. The three stories intertwined. The third character Josh's story was definitely for erotica readers as it showed many different "tools" for BDSM. Would recommend if you want a quick hot read. Some of the "training" the subs endured did seem like alot of punishment but the subs did enjoy it regardless.
