I enjoyed the complex plotting of this book, and the primary character made me sympathetic to his plight as a spy who tries to make a place for himself outside of that world of intrigue and violence.
Helpful Score: 2
This is a very well written spy novel. The plot was a little confusing and complex but it tied up nicely at the end. My only criticism would be the author's apparent loathing of the U.S. I give it 3.5 stars and plan on reading the sequel, "The Nearest Exit". According to the dust jacket, this novel has been optioned for a major motion picture starring George Clooney.

Very good spy novel. Reminds me of Le Carre's work.

It was a good read. Milo is a character with problems that mesh well inside the story. Reading book 2 and it appears to be even better. Looking forward to a good series of books by the author.
