This is a story about American Indians. The families in this book are tied together by their loves, lies and losses. Heartwrenching and heartwarming. Louise Erdrich captures the elegance of the language......she is my favorite author.

Creepy and interesting at the same time, one never can be sure if these disasters are the result of chance or if they are actually being done by Fleur Pillager.
