Suzanne and Grace find a body in the park and embark on yet another murder investigation. All the usual characters are back: boyfriend, Jake; Chief Martin; George, Emma and Suzanne's mom, Dorothy. Good recipes, too. 3.5 stars
This is a great series! Small town dynamics, believable characters, good plots & romance thrown in for good measure. Plus plenty of donut recipes!! Everything a person wants in a cozy!
Suzanne Hart, owner of "Donut Hearts" donut shoppe is the last person to see Emilly Hargraves, owner of the newsstand, before she disappeared. Then Suzanne and her friend Grace discover a body hanging from the Patriot Tree in the park. Three jealous women, a valuable book gone missing, a deliberately set fire all tie into this mystery. Even if you do not love donuts, you will love this mystery, the heroine and her boyfriend, and all the other characters.....
