As much as I will be anxious to pass along my copy of this book, I do not recommend this title. The author, Donna Hogan, is the sister of Anna Nicole. I was unsure at times if this biography was actually an autobiography of Donna. Of course an autobiography of Donna Hogan would never sell, so much better to include the famous half sister's name in the title. If you have read any tabloids within the last 10 years, you truly know enough about Anna Nicole (Vickie Hogan).

In my opinion, it is obvious that Donna wrote this book to make some money off her half sister, Anna. She does not speak highly of Anna, which is ok if the book is presenting an honest look into Anna Nicole's life. Donna appears to be jealous of Anna, and the material things she obtained. Although I am no fan of Anna Nicole Smith's lifestyle, I found the book to be in poor taste. I do not think Donna wrote this book for therapeutic benefits, but only for her gain. Hopefully, Anna Nicole's daughter will never read this book from her "aunt".

I would not recommend this book. The author jumped around alot, switching between stories, and at times it seemed she wanted to talk about her life more than Anna Nicole's. Even the pictures were mostly of her, I thought that this was a book about her sister? She said some pretty inflamatory things about alot of people, which made me question her credibility. She hadn't talked to her sister in over ten years so she had nothing insightful to say about her later years. Even the editing was bad, words were repeated, in one section a paragraph was repeated. It seems like they were in a big rush to get this book out in order to cash in on her death. If you want to read this do like I did and get it out of the library, this woman does not deserve to make any money from this.

Book was a good background into the life of someone who wanted fame.Someone who sought fame and someone who died as a result of the lifestyle that sometimes comes with Fame.
