I've read several books that deal with the topic of grief. This book has been the first to really and truly validate all the feelings and thoughts that I've believed for years.
1. Grief never completely disappears - your loss is a part of you for the rest of your life, and 2. You will continue to love the person you lost - they were and remain an intimate and integral part of you always. So even though you DO move beyond the deepest of the grief, you can do that only once you complete the stages described in this so accurately here. Definitely would recommend it, whether your loss is new or years in the past like mine. D.
