This was my first Max Lucado book. I was very well pleased with this one. He is a very fine author with a easy to understand and quite humorus, down to earth style. I really enjoyed the way he took the 23rd Psalm verse by verse and related them to our everyday lives. He is an inspirational speaker and author too as I have found out with this book! I would rate this book on a scale of 1 to 10 a solid 9 for Biblical content, easy to understand, and personal connection as to how "this relates to you".

Excellent book...so insightful. Page 32 "You have a God who hears you, the power of love behind you, the Holy Spirit within you, and all heaven ahead of you. I love everything Max Lucado writes. This book is wonderful. Everyone carries unnecessary "baggage," and this book has taught me how to leave it behind.
