This was not my favorite John Lescroart book. This is the second book in the Wyatt Hunt series. My favorite parts of the entire book were the author's vivid pictures of San Francisco. I live in the Bay Area and his descriptions are very accurate.
About San Francisco Charities and wonder how bad they are miss managed. Interesting and well written.
Just like every other Lescroart book we've read, it's a great read with a terrific ensemble of characters!
Excellent read
I was disturbed by the way the author happily threw virtually every charity in San Francisco under the bus in pursuit of his frankly absurd murder mystery. I'm sure he'll have plenty of readers who will now use this as an excuse to stop donating to local charities benefiting the poor on the grounds that they are basically all protection rackets.
Good book, easy reading. Keeps your attention!
