This is an amazing true story of a families unwavering faith following a tragic farm accident of an 8 year old boy. The Beam family, including their older son's, run the family farm on a daily basis. One January in 2008, one of the son's, Trevor, sustains extremely serious injuries to both of this legs when he makes one false step inside a harvester wagon. From the very beginning, his parents showed their faith concerning Trevor's recovery. The doctor's initial assessment was that they would most likely have the amputate his right leg. His parents asked the doctors to reconsider. Over the next three weeks it was evident that his continual progress was nothing short of miraculous. Trevor was able to go home after only 3 weeks in the hospital and soon after was able to walk on his own. This was a very inspirational read.Â

This story grabs you and pulls you in. It flows almost in the same speed as the farm equipment that pulled Trevor into it's claws and tried to kill him. It's written like you are standing right there beside Trevor's dad, watching firsthand. You can smell the hay and hear the heartbeats of all involved. It's a story of faith and courage and God's wonderful hand. It's a book worth picking up and one you won't want to put down.
FROM BACK COVER: On a cold winter morning on eight-year-old Trevor;s family's Pennsylvania farm, Trevor made one false step inside a harvester wagon. His bulky winter jacket was snagged in the machinery and he was pulled through spiked bars that should have killed him instantly.
Both legs seemingly were mangled beyond repair-one even was slated for immediate amputation. A spike missed his heart by less than an inch, and another gouged a deep gash in his head. His father found him slumped lifeless over the spiked bars. Within this book you will meet an earthly father who refused to give up. Most of all, you will meet a heavenly Father who hears and answers prayer.
