Tedious, not worth the effort to get through it.

This review is for the Audio CD version of the book. The reader, Scott Brick, is melodramatic in all books he reads. This sometimes adds to humor in books he reads. However, regarding Trouble, Scott Brick's style gets in the way of the contents. I believe I would have enjoyed the book had I read it with my own eyes. This is contrary to most audio books. Most audio book readers give me a different perspective from how I would have interpreted the attitudes of characters. Scott Brick's style interferes with the story line.
I have to agree with Linda's review of this book. I was struggling to get through it, and by the middle of Disc 5, I looked at the reviews to see if it was me or the book. The writing style is very wordy, and I was having a hard time believing that things would improve. Having read the reviews, I bailed out. I could be listening to something I enjoyed instead of forcing myself to go on. And Scott Brick's narration (which I've listened to many times) actually made the whole thing worse. Sorry about that folks but this was just not for me!
