From the book cover:
Lt. Grace Yates, the perfect combination of skill and grace under pressure, has made a career of defending God and country. And she's one of the first women to fly fighter jets on dangerous missions over Iraq for the Navy. Air Force Major Bruce Stanton spends his time as a pararescueman, aiding pilots who are brought down behind enemy lines. He's also smart, handsome and interested in Grace. With jobs that keep them apart, he and Grace get to know each other -- and fall in love -- through their letters. They learn to lean on God and each other, as tensions mount overseas.

Another good story from Dee Henderson. As always, there is an important lesson to be learned from her stories.

Loved this book! I had read True Devotion in this series, but this one was really good because of the letters the main characters wrote back and forth to each other. It was just a great romance read with lots of spiritual insight.
This was the first Dee Henderson book I read, a book that impacted me with its writing (I would constantly go to the library and leaf through it every chance I got). Dee Henderson is a great writer, every book is wonderful.
I thought this would be another fantastic series by Dee Henderson, similar to the O'Malley series, but it was very disappointing. Book 1, True Devotion, was good enough to make me move on but books 2 & 3 were really tough to get through. The final book of the series was probably the best.
A moving story about a relationship that withstands distance and the stress of deployment. The scripture throughout is very appropriate and powerful.
Another super story from Dee Henderson. She writes the books you hate to put down. I'm looking forward to book 3 in this series!
awesome feel good book
Another amazing series by Dee Henderson.
LT Grace Yates spent her deployment catapulting off te deck of the USS George Washington in an F/A-18 Hernet. Self assured naval aviator, she was flying to keep the peace while being ready for war.
Major Bruce Stanton, Air Force Pararescue Jumper, had been pulling pilots and Special Forces soldiers from behind enemy lines for 12 years. Bruce knew Grace was too goo a pilot not to draw the tough assignments. She was on the front line. If she got in trouble, his unit would get the call.
They both leaned on the truth that God is sufficient no matter the circumstances. Grace was determined not to be the first woman pilot shot down behind enemy lines. Her best efforts thwarted, her fighter jet went down. Now Bruce has one mission: get her out alive

2nd book is just as good as the 1st. Can't wait to read #3.
I enjoyed both the suspense and the romance of this book.
Another interesting book by Dee Hendersoon.
I loved the story line in this book. It was so sweet and romantic but also was full of glory and action. Dee Henderson puts just the ight spiritual "flavor" in her books to really get you thinking about your relationship with the Lord.
For some reason I had a little trouble getting into this book however, in true Dee Henderson fashion - I got what I expected in the end. Nice story.
This is an excellent Christian love story about a female jet pilot and a pararescue jumper who rescued her when her plane is shot down in enemy territory. Good plot. I enjoyed reading it immensely. I would recommend Dee Henderson's books anytime.
Good story
While I got a bit lost through the some of the in flight scenes, I really enjoyed the letters between the main characters. A very well written story, enjoyable on many levels.
This is an excellent read, but keep them in order in the series 1-6
I didn't care for this one as much as the others in the series. Too much reading their letters instead of dialogue. Still a good book and it ties in with the other books in the series.
