My Favorite Rachel Gibson. Nick has loved Delaney all his life. Will he get his heart's desire? Loved it, this is one of my favorite romances ever.

Delaney Shaw plans to get in and out of her hometown in the time it takes to attend her stepfather Henry's funeral, read the will, and refill the tank of her Miata. Even the pleas of her mother and the tension of an unfinished fling with Henry's bastard son, Nick Allegrezza, can't keep her in Truly, Idaho. But Henry had other plans in mind: Nick and Delaney's inheritance is contingent on her staying in Truly for a year, and him having no "sexual relationship" with Delaney. What's a girl to do? Delaney digs in, starts up a hair salon and prepares to grit her teeth for as long as it takes.
Small-town life is everything that Delaney fears it to be: high school rivalries and old rumors about Delaney and Nick resurrect themselves with predictable immediacy. Gossip nears the truth as the sexual sparks fly between Nick and Delaney. Nick's reputation as a ladies man hasn't changed, either, and Delaney reminds herself that he can love her and leave her just as brutally as he did 10 years ago. But when the two find themselves in close proximity, all their best intentions fly out the window and intense passion consumes them.
Truly Madly Yours has the same originality and sauciness that made Rachel Gibson's first work, Simply Irresistible, popular with readers. While each page brings a new take on the familiar "black sheep, old flame" plot, the main characters are at times a bit unappealing. Delaney's unqualified disgust for Truly becomes a tired mantra and no amount of biker jackets and muttered "wild things" can neutralize Nick's anachronistic womanizing. Gibson wisely focuses her attention on clever dialogue and original situations, and the overall result is a delightful and completely entertaining read. --Nancy R.E. O'Brien

I thought this book was great! Characters were easy to identify with. Great Plot. A little easy to guess what was going to happen, but it's a good summer beach read. I read the first 250 pages in one sitting! This is my first Rachel Gibson book and I plan to read more. Enjoy!
Romantic tension. Hate turns to love. Rachel Gibson as always with fiesty woman and brooding man.
I didn't think I would like this book but I really enjoyed it. It's a very quick, light romance. I think Gibson took a chance and actually included more sex scenes in this book than her others. Better dialogue than most of her books.
Nick and Delaney worked well together. Both are likable in their own little ways. Nick is definitely the ultimate bad boy. Delaney is very strong for someone who has been under the thumb of her family during her formative years.
You also get extra romances with Delaney's mother and her friend Lisa with Nick's older brother (Crazy Louie). I liked the way Gibson provided their backgrounds and their relationships with each other and their families.
If you want to catch up to what happens to everyone, you get an update in "Tangled in You" which ties in with Gibson's writer series (Maddie Dupree's story).
Fun read.

Loved the sexy biker bad boy Hero...loved this book!
Rachel Gibson's stories are so funny and full of life. Once I start reading one of her books I don't want to put it down or see it end....
Nice light summer read
This is my favorite Rachel Gibson book. I will not be giving this one up
Sizzling!! A good read.
I love all of Rachel Gibson's books, but this is my favorite! From start to finish, I couldn't put it down! You have to read this one. It's a keeper!
LOVE Rachel Gibson and really enjoyed this one!
i LOVE EVERYTHING gIBSON WRITES. Great story.
When Delaney returns for the reading of her stepfathers will she is surprised by the conditions, stay for a year or lose the inheritance. This coupled with her attraction to Nick Allegrezza may make getting out of town quickly impossible. Steamy romance that Rachel Gibson does so well.
Light and funny.
Pages turner. Great read!
LOved IT!!! Typical Gibson! If you never read one of her books you will fall in love with her writting!
I really enjoyed this. The main characters were in conflict from the beginning and the plot kept them at odds. Even though they both understood the cost of getting too "friendly" neither was able to deny the attraction they felt. The tight focus on the hero and heroine and this push-me-pull-me dynamic kept the story interesting through to the end. Given the $3 million inheritance at stake for the heroine, I wasn't sure how the author was going bring the two together, though she did, and my guesses were wrong - which I was happy to see since too much predictability is not something I want in what I read.
I held on to this book for quite a while, because I really enjoyed it.
I enjoyed reading this book. There were points in the book I started laughing out loud.
After a ten-year absence, Delaney Shaw has returned to her hometown for her stepfather's funeral. She wants to get in and out of town quickly and doesn't want to see Nick Allegreeza, the reason she left town in the first place. Her plans for a short stay are disrupted when she learns of the stipulations in the will. Delaney will inherit three million dollars if she stays in the small town of Truly, Idaho for a year. Nick is also named in the will. Mayor Shaw was his biological father, but never wanted anything to do with him until it was too late. Now he is leaving Nick a fortune in land with one stipulation. He has to keep his hands off of Delaney Shaw. Is the town big enough for the two of them?
Delaney is a hairdresser and decides to open her own shop while she is staying in Truly. She has an on-going feud with a woman she knows from high school who owns a rival shop. I found some of the scenes and dialogue hilarious. Nick and Delaney try to keep their distance, but can't seem to keep their hands off of each other. The whole town knows about the will and is talking about the two of them.
I read this book when it first came out and loved it. This time around I listened to the audiobook. Emma Bates is the narrator and does a fantastic job. My rating: 4.5 Stars.

Rachel Gibson is sooooooo good. Light hearted reading with sexy romance.

Ten years ago, Nick had swept Delaney off her feet and onto his Harley, and that's when she really let down her hair! Back then, he was a love-em and leave-em man, and Delaney learned the hard way that she was just a fling. But Nick is as irresistable as ever!
