I always look forward to Jayne Ann Krentz's books with their quirky characters and amusing plot lines and mysteries, but found this was one that I didn't quite like. It had the feel of a book that was thrown together and that the "bad guys" where chosen at the last minute so the reasons for their actions made little sense.
Really, JAK! Who wrote this, Clichey McCliche, or Pollyanna?
Lots of repetition, "wrote that cookbook and blog" - got it the first time. Two dimensional characters who could get away with their hidden agendas - and we know that everyone has one.
