The story was long, tedious and convoluted. There were a few times when I was tempted to just stop and move onto something else but kept on going. I kept thinking maybe it will get better. Nope, it didn't.

I know there are other reviews that saay this book had a convolued ending...I just didn't see it. Great wit infused in the book and several times I found myself laughing outloud. The ending would have been better if she left off the last couple of pages, though. Such fun! I will be reading others.

If you enjoy time travel romances, then I think you'll really enjoy this book. I loved it and can't wait to read more by Gwyn Cready.

I didn't hate this but I didn't love it either.
VERY convoluted story and I had to read the ending three times to make sure I understood what was happening.
There were a few LOL moments but also some *GAG* moments for blood and gore.

I gave up at page 35 ... and I HATE to give up on a book. But it was just too hard to follow along with the convoluted plot. This went beyond Witty to "What the ??? are they talking about?"
