If you love tuna, either as a game fish or food item, this book may be interesting and informative. It is well written and packed with interesting facts and data about tuna and the fishing industry. It follows tuna, in essence, from the waves to your dinner table. It can be repetitive in some points. The reader gets the sense that the author wrote the chapters independently of each other over a long period of time. As a result, there are some parts that regurgitate previously mentioned data. This book might also be of great interest to conservationists. It provides quite a wake up call to the possible extinction of arguably the most valuable fish in the ocean.

A good read. A story about how mankind continues to deplete the worlds resources.
