This was my least favorite of the Drake Sister's novels. I was really looking forward to the interaction between Joley and Ilya, but really, it was just sex, and a LOT of it. There wasn't the play between the two characters like in her previous books. It just went on and on about how Joley wanted him, but couldn't let him in, and over and over. Sometimes it seemed she just wrote the same chapter over and over. Get on with the story already. Her sisters were pretty much non-existent in this book which was very disappointing. The sisters' relationships are what makes this series so great, but it just wasn't there.
Worth the read to keep up with the series, but disappointing as a whole.

I read a little over half, skipped to the last chapter and ended it. Feehan repeated everything over and over, until I couldn't go on. Usually I can hang in there, my interest peaked on what happens eventually, but not this time. I loved all the others, and the Dark series, but for me this was a bust.

Pretty good. She's managed to stay pretty consistant with this series and Joley's story doesn't stray from that. Not a lot of surprise but no disapointments as well. I have never liked reading her Dark series because I always felt the Carpantians were too highhanded and Ilya toes the line a lot with his "demands." The Russian theme was used in this and I think she has opened up options for more books with the direction she went here.
