Lesser known book by co-author of the Left Behind series. It has been a few years since I read this but still remember how much I enjoyed it. I recommend it and lend it out to friends and it always gets a good review. Great Christmas story. Great message and very well written!

Christmas love story--sappy, but a good holiday reading.
Noella, a journalism professor at Northwestern University, and Tom, a reporter for the Chigago Tribune are engaged to be married. After several failed relationships for each,they believe they have finally found true love. As Christmas aproaches, though they come up a basic difference in their temperments: She always sees the glass half full and he sees it as half empty or maybe even cracked beyond repair. When she insists a medallion she received as a child is actually from Santa Claus, he bah-humbugs it. Sadly they realize they are too dissimilar to marry. Devatated by the break up, Tom decides he won't do his usual cynical Christmas story for the paper but instead will fly to Germany to write about Father Christmas tradition. What he discovers changes his life and restores his faith in much more than Santa. It's a Spell binding love story like It's a Wonderful Life.
