Anthology - The Twelve Quickies of Christmas - Volume 1
by Ashleigh Raine, Lora Leigh, Shiloh Walker, Kate Douglas, Rachel Bo, and R. Casteel

This is a loosely themed anthology of six [not twelve as the title implies] stories based on a Christmas setting or premise. To the best of my knowledge, only two of them seem to be connected to outside series - Angel In Moonlight by Ashleigh Raine which can be read as a stand-alone and August Heat by Lora Leigh which is the culmination of the series so don't it read out of order. All stories are readable although with an average length of 50 pages and including the requisite [explicit] sex scenes the plots are not deep. The other six stories can be found in The Twelve Quickies of Christmas (Volume 2) with stories by Lisa Marie Rice, Lacey Alexander, Samantha Winston, Kit Tunstall, Joey W. Hill, and Tawny Taylor.

Talisman Bay series by Ashleigh Raine
#1 Lover's Talisman
#1.5 Angel In Moonlight
#2 Forsaken Talisman

Men of August series by Lora Leigh
#1 Marly's Choice
#2 Sarah's Seduction
#3 Heather's Gift
#4 August Heat

Of the six 'Christmas' stories, three were passable, three were so trite as to be a waste of time. Yes, the explicit sex was there in each story, but the storylines - nada.

This book has 6 stories, not 12 as the title suggests. They are all holiday-themed, not very serious, some of them are kind of silly.

I bought this for the Lora Leigh story. I wanted to see what happens to the three couples and this book pretty much summed up their story and ended the "sharing".
