Chris Van Allsburg is one of the top childrens' author/illustrators in the country. His books are always thought provoking and intriguing for children and parents alike. This story of two ants who separate from their group and start off on an adventure of their own is warm, quirky, and fun to read. Children of all ages will love it. As a childrens' librarian I incorporated it into a number of "story hours" for my young library patrons. It was a winner, every time
