I'm not a King fan, but this series was great! The Green Mile represents the last walk taken by condemned prisoners. Is John Coffey a vicious murder of children, or a gentle giant wrongfully accused? Set in 1932, this story of murder, mystery and miracles is told from the point of view of a prison guard.

This is the first volume of the story of John Coffey who was caught with two dead children in his arms. He is not an ordinary man. After reading it, I couldn't wait for the next volume.

I've always loved Stephen King's stories, but also had a difficult time getting thru his books because of the detail he always puts in them...so I usually wait for the movie versions, which I did in this case too. So far, the story is following the movie to a tee and hasn't dragged or become bogged down by details. I'm impressed.

Sister's are killed in the depression era and the killer does not even understand their brutal deaths. This story is told from the perspective of the death row superintendent as he sits in a nursing home.

some people may not realize that Stephen King's blockbuster The Green Mile started as an experiment...

He wanted to return to the old serial style stories that were published in magazines in his own boyhood. This book, The Two Dead Girls is the beginning of that experiment.

At less than 100 pages, this book begins the story of a man, a mouse, a prison, and two dead girls...

THIS VERSION OF THE GREEN MILE COMES IN A SERIES OF 6. I WILL ONLY POST THE 1ST BOOK, BUT THE PERSON INTERESTED WILL RECEIVE ALL SIX BOOKS. I JUST DON'T THINK IS FARE TO POST ALL SIX BOOKS IF THEY'RE A PART OF ONE BOOK.
