This book was extremely well written. At the beginning, it read like a Kinsella shopaholic novel: smart rich best friend, parents who are nagging the main character to give them grandchildren, cause others have grandchildren. I liked this book so much more than the shopaholic series, cause this main character doesnt do comical things or tell big lies, or shop excessively. Most chick lit has a standard pattern. This book will follow that pattern, but you will enjoy the ride, and scenery. All the support characters are likable.
I would read this author again before I read another Meg Cabot, queen of Babble book.
