Disclaimer: I don't think the following message regards a PBS package. I just want to tap into this group's USPS knowledge and experience.
I received an odd email from USPS: Dear Customer,We're sorry to let you know that your package which arrived on 19/10/2021 will be sent back. Reason: Shipment address contains an error. Status: Waiting for payment. To submit a re-delivery request for this package :
The email address seems a little off: USPostalservice (noreply@formresponse.com) but this is at the bottom of the message: © Copyright - 2021 US Postal Service. All Rights Reserved © The link directs me to the USPS website but provides a tracking number that begins with US and has only 13 digits. The status statement: We have issues with your shipping addressUSPS Allows you to Redeliver your package to your address in case of delivery failure or any other case.
Does anyone have experience with this situation? Last Edited on: 10/19/21 10:58 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

I don't think I do, exactly. But any time I see something odd like this, I don't click on any links in the message. I'd go to the usps.com site directly, and type the tracking number into the USPS own search box. I think you are right about the sender's email address being not right. |
