Great book! Jamie Bond is a tough private investigator who knows how to work her soft feminine side. She's not ditzy or flaky, although she has a kook or two in her circle. If you like mystery and action blended with a little chick lit, you will love this series.

James Bond (Jamie) is a successful former model who has taken over the family PI business. They're facing financial hard times and hoping for a case involving a cheating judge. His wife pays them and Jamie figures their job is done. When the judge winds up dead, all the evidence points to Jamie. A very enjoyable read!

I really loved this book right away, and all the way to the end. I wish I knew what it was that makes this better than other mysteries. The words just seem to jump off the page and strung together just right. I was only about 30 pages into the book when I went right away and added books 2 and 3 to my WL. The books is very short, but you still get a good mystery and some clearly defined characters. The characters are extremely likable and believable.

This book seemed to fit into a cozy theme, no blood, but lots of reference to sex and drugs, nothing graphic.
