This is a real book, only the center outlined by the dinoaur uncovers. There's lots of information about what we do and don't know (like colors) about dinosaurs. In fact, everything my first grade class knows about dinosaur poop comes from this book.
The books in this series are great! My older elementary students love them, my toddler enjoys the 3D aspect, and even as an adult they have good information. You won't regret using this as an educational tool or just for fun!
