I thought book 9 would be the end of the series and was disappointed in it. I was hoping this book would rewaken my interest in the series. Wrong. This book puts Betsy in an alternate timeline to try and correct her perceived mistakes of the future/past. Same characters but much less interesting. It reminded me of the old "dream sequence" they did to end the tv show "Dallas". I guess sometimes Dead should remain Dead.

What can I say about this latest book in the series...don't waste a credit on it. Go get it from your local library, like I did. Ms. Davidson claims that this book is part 2 of a trilogy within the series, it is suppose to be a "filler". Why? I loved the first 8 books in the series but I was disappointed with book 9 and now I completely fed up with Betsy and her antics, I mean how far can you push her ditziness, there is just so much a person can take. I still don't know what this book is suppose to be filling in because it made absolutely no sense to me. The storyline is complete nonsense.

Hmmmm...not sure what to say. Undead and Unfinished and Undead and Undermined; both had bad reviews in PBS, and although I didn't read them all, my complaints are different. Both books were jumpy with lots of typos. I don't like time travel stories, so obviously both books were not for me. (I'm not that bright so I have a hard time keeping up.) And I kind of thought she screwed the pooch by killing off someone in the present, but his future self didn't die. Maybe it's me, but that didn't make sense.
That being said, I'm looking forward to the next one, I just can't help myself.

I totally agree with all the reviews written but I have to add that I would have still read the book anyway if I'd read the reviews first simply because I love the series.
As I was reading the book I thought "is it only me but is this book really ridiculous"? So I guess the author wrote this book for people like me, who blindly follow a series no matter what. Well the only good thing about this is I got the book from the library, so "ha!", I didn't give a dime to the publishers or author for this one.
This book made Betsy seem like a lunatic and you wonder how anything got done. She's constantly raving on and on about issues and normally I'd find it funny but this time I just saw it as filler.
The alternate timeline will be OK if there's a reason for it in the third book. It seems like the author is changing history to fit in with what's coming in future books (I hope).
