This is a great story. While the writing style is the same as her Shopaholic series, the character of Samantha is quite different in that she works far too much while Rebecca Bloomwood of the Shopaholic series shops too much. Samantha's situation is almost reminiscent of the romantic novels of the early twentieth century which is funny to say because Kinsella has been pigeon-holed in the 'chick-lit' category. I love this story.

I worked out to this CD.It's a fun listen. It's all about a lawyer who's fired from her job and ends up accidently applying for a job as a housekeeper, a job she is NOT qualified for!! I really enjoyed it!
I loved this book. Very easy and fast read
Very entertaining and was read very well.
This book was a humorous and delightful escape from the daily commute. It made me laugh out loud. The reader is fabulous. My only disappointment was that the book seemed to end abruptly. I did not want it to end at all and would have preferred a more gradual closure.
An easy & enjoyable listen. It was an uncomplicated plot & perfect to listen to while working on a sewing project.
Fun to listen too!!
This was a fun book to listen to when I didn't want to think too hard. It flowed nicely and kept me smiling.

This was such a funny book to listen to and read. The main character learns that you can't outrun your mistakes. A laugh out loud, what is she thinking kind of book. A great weekend read.
It starts out a little slow. I almost decided not to listen to it. Thank Goodness I stuck it out because it is a wonderful book. Very far-fetched, but delightfully so. I laughed frequently and smiled the rest of the time.
The book kept me interested for several days and I loved the narrator who also helped keep the story fresh and interesting. It was well read. In fact I purchased 2 more audio books by this author and I listen to it on the way to work and back home. I did not really expect profanity in the book but there were a few "F" bombs but they were funny. Overall I would recommend for entertainmnet purposes.

Great story like expected from Kinsella.
I've come to appreciate the fact that there's nothing better for a long workday commute than a Sophie Kinsella audio book! This one isn't quite as good as others, but it still made for an entertaining ride.
Ha ha ha... this book had me laughing. This was another great Sophie Kinsella book.

This is a good entertaining story. It reminded me of Bridget Jones from the begining. The reader was easy to follow and had some great voices for the characters.

This was a great book!
Very good book.
Great fun for a car ride - humorous in places, nothing too heavy. Probably the definition of chick lit.
