This is such a good book. A lot of twists and turns -- a murder mystery and historical romance rolled into one. Lots of fun. I couldn't put it down.

Good story about a plucky American reporter and her quest to expose her brother's murderer. Set in 1890's London, the heroine masquerades as a tutor in the home of a Duke to uncover proof that the heir has killed her brother. Wonderfully human characters, eccentric in the very best way. Fun.

I'm clearly in the minority, but I just couldn't handle the hero's blind acceptance of someone who he catches on multiple occasions sneaking around his loved family's home. The children were very well written and the romance was good, but she lost me with the Fountain of Youth and intercontinental ghostly visitations. I enjoy a good paranormal romance, but this felt like a random thought tacked onto a historical.

Fun, light reading. Kind of obvious ending, rather anachronistic, but what do you expect?
American journalist Megan Mulcahey travels to London to solve the mystery of her brother's death. An interesting story; however, it takes a "far-out" twist at the end.
