Very interesting account of the continued expansion and integration of the European Union and the unique challenges that the EU poses to the US as a superpower.
You would expect it to be a bit dry and technical but the author has a very casual style and fills the book with anecdotes to break up the in-depth analysis of this new and very important political body.

At a time when an upstart currency called the euro is trumping the almighty dolla on the global markets, Americans need ot learn about the serious global challenger across the sea. In the United States of Europe, T.R.Reidmakes this esential lesson both informative and elightfully entertaining."
