In 1945 Frank and Marie Drown joined Avant Ministries (formerly Gospel Missionary Union), and moved to Ecuador where they raised five children. They lived in Ecuador, sharing the message of the gospel until 1982. Now, officially retired, Frank and Marie continue to travel sharing their story of God's faithfulness. Their missionary work continues to this day among the 50 churches established with the Shuar people in Ecuador. Frank and Marie live in Kansas City, Missouri and have five children, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
