I have loved all Stuart Woods books since I read my very first one many, many years ago (Palindrome). I especially enjoy the Stone Barrington series and this one doesn't disappoint. I always enjoy the return and expansion of old characters, and introduction of new ones. I look forward with great anticipation to the next in the series.

Very good author, easy reading story line, keept me interested from page 1 til lthe end!
This was okay but not one of Woods' best. There was really no singular plot but several woven together haphazardly.
easy interesting mystery

Unnatural Acts is the 23rd in the Stone Barrington series. The series centers around ex cop turned lawyer Stone Barrington and his best friend Lieutenant Dino Bacchetti.
Stone has settled into his new position as a partner at Woodman and Weld and is happily offering advice to his protégé Herbie Fisher. Herbie is afraid to take over the "Stone Barrington" reputation by only handling the jobs that the law firm doesn't really want to have it's name associated with, but manages to find himself embroiled in several nefarious cases.
Dino finds himself being stalked by ex assistant director of the FBI, Shelley Bach who is now on the FBI's most wanted list for her string of serial killings. In the midst of his various investigations and helping to get both Stone and Herbie out of their respective jams he discovers himself falling for his partner Vivian DeCarlo.
This edition to the series follows along in the typical Stuart Woods/Stone Barrington fashion. Plenty of sex had by all, several plotlines that will leave you shaking your head at the outlandish and often illegal way that the men handle their clients and situations. But, it is always refreshing to catch up with the original cast of characters and read how the other secondary series characters are growing and now becoming a pivotal part of the plot(s).
