What could possibly have been a fabulous story nearly lost amidst pages and pages of needless details and conversations that neither added to, enhanced, nor furthered the main story or character development. Author spent too much time on the unimportant and unneeded details of the characters' secondary traits that it made the characters themselves far less interesting and the story far less engaging. Unlike the author's previous books in this genre, which are quick-paced and hard to put down, this new tedious writing style Henderson has undertaken in her most recent books makes it hard for a fan like myself to faithful.

I don't many of Dee Henderson books and this one didn't even start out any good. I have to admit I couldn't stick with it after 50 pages! When the first 50 pages are boring what is the rest of the book like? Just very very boring!

I listened to this story by Dee Henderson. It was interesting, but a little slow moving. The plot was good, but there was a lot of conversation. It was good, not great.
