I really enjoyed reading this book. I am a huge golden retriever fan!!! But I learned a lot about invisible disabilities and how hard it is for people in the military to get the help they need. I got the opportunity to attend a book signing from the author and Tuesday and they are even better in person!!!

Excellent, heartwarming story. I have been an animal lover my entire life and this book was another fine example of how our canine companions can make such a difference in this world, especially for those who suffer with a disability. Animals offer us their unconditional love and extraordinary capabilities. For this author, his faithful dog enabled him to live a better life despite his physical and emotional hardships from his time spent in the military. I highly recommend this publication.

Excellant book about what are veterans are facing when coming back from Iraq. It gave a new appreciation about how PTSD is a permanent adjustment to living the rest of your life. Also, how we not taking care of veterans in the present system we have set up. The book is very readable compared to some others I have read on the subject. Thank god, Luis Carlos Montalvan has Tuesday. Both of you are soul mates.

After returning for the Iraq war Captain Luis Montalvan returns home with several crippling injuries and is very depressed and despondent. Several friends suggest getting a service dog but for months he refuses. Finally he meets a beautiful Golden Retriever named Tuesday. Tuesday also had his issues as he was handed back and forth from prisoner to prisoner in a training session. It was heartwarming how Tuesday and Luis came to save each other.
