These are such delightful fantasies. There are so many twists and turns, but eventually everything turns out well for the hero, even if it isn't what he wanted. As of this third volume, the main character isn't a heroine, but there are strong female characters who share in making our hero's life interesting, if sometimes not so pleasant. Hey, isn't that what happens in real life? :-)
