This book totally rocccccccccckkkked! I loved it from the beginning to the end. This first book solely by Roughan was the best of the best! He wrote Honeymoon with James Patterson which got me hooked on Patterson! Now....I can't wait to read Promise of Lie the 2nd book by Roughan.
This book had many twists back and forth. Just when you thought you knew what the characters were going to do....you were WRONG! I guessed a few things but then they ended up twisting into a totally different way

Not bad, I read this as a result of reading the book "You've been Warned" that he co-wrote with Patterson. Not my usual type of book, kind of an ironic tale but not the mystery novel I thought it might be.
Philip Randall has it all: youth, looks, wealth. He's got a successful career with a prestigious Manhattan law firm, a luxurious downtown loft, a filthy-rich wife, and a gorgeous mistress who also happens to be his best friend's wife. Self-satisfaction suddenly turns deadly, however, when a prep school classmate appears with an eye on Philip's bank account, and telling photographs of Philip and his mistress together. Now the once-untouchable lawyer is at the center of a murder investigation that could end his career, marriage, and fabulous life. It's the classic noir tale, a thought-provoking look at America's culture of narcissism set in the world of ambitious young New Yorkers.
