This is Katie MacAlister's second novel about the silver dragons, and I was not disappointed. Her dialogue is spot-on, the characters are fun (and funny), and she always manages to expand upon the lore of the dragons and the Otherworld to keep readers interested and wanting more. I'm ready for book three!

This is the second in the Silver Dragon books. This book opens with May Northcott, mate to Gabriel, leader of the Silver Dragon sept, a virtual prisoner in Abaddon where Magoth has decided she will become his consort. May was bound to Magoth, a demon lord, when her twin, Cyrene, created May who is a doppelganger. Through a tug of war between the human world and Abaddon, May finds herself back with Gabriel. Due to the typical conflict between the dragon septs which always seem to occur, May fights to defend herself and her mate.
This was an enjoyable book, as almost all of Katie MacAlister's books are. It's doubly enjoyable because of the presence of Aisling,Drake and Effrijim from the green dragon series.
The book ends with a cliffhanger, so there's more to come!!

I have been addicted to Katie's 'Dragons' series from the start. I hope she keeps going with more episodes of paranormal mystical adventure, smoky sex scenes and laugh out loud humor. She has created quite a few characters that you really want to follow because you love them and a few that you love to hate. They have all been really hard to put down.
