A really good book about a woman who finally faces her past, the decisions she made, so that she can live in the present, and look forward to the future.

Excellent story -- 16 yr old Allyson places her newborn for adoption and lives with the doubts and longing. At age 51 her unknown 16 yr old grandson shows up on her doorstep. That begins a journey of discovery for Allyson, her grandson and eventually her once teenage boyfriend. Well-crafted and believable story with sensitivity, self-discovery, humor and compassion.

Allyson Cole's journey to find the father of her child and maybe find the me she used to be and maybe still is. It is about a woman's self-discovery and you will not be able to put it down.

Allyson Cole. Age sixteen. Living in the world of endless summers, of going wherever you wanted.
Allyson Cole. This time age fifty-one. She has everything she always wanted--almost. Now's the time to find what she lost. To do that she has to hit the road, and find the father of her only child. And start a journey she never could have anticpated.
