Highly recommend that you NOT read this until you read the first, "The Archer's Tale" - you will be lost!
lots of detail and a definite deep read for history buffs.

any book that Cornwell writes is great. This book concerns a period of history that is
unknown to the majority of people.Very little history is being taught in our school now.

This is a fairly easy read that has a great historical background. Very hard book to put down.
Second in series.
Book Two of the Grail Quest series. Excellent entertainment.
loved the books, love Cornwell. It's Richard Shapre in 1192.
A sequel to The Archer's Tale - make sure to read them in order.
Very much in the type of tale we expect from Cornwell. The tale moves quickly and the history is blended in skillfully.
Bravo Bernard.
